Business and Bollywood have a direct relationship as many celebrities from B’town entered into diverse businesses from film production to interior designing and from real estate to hospitality.

While one can find many Bollywood celebrities with business interests in movies and others, the following five Bollywood couples have proved their business acumen with their investments. They are popular actors, big brands and successful entrepreneurs as well.

  1. Sunil Shetty and Mana Shetty

Sunil Shetty wears many hats. He is an actor, producer and also an entrepreneur. He owns a couple of businesses including a real estate company, S2, with his wife Mana Shetty. He owns a farmhouse in Khandala and also runs a chain of luxury holiday homes, Discovery Khandala, in the hill station. The couple also owns a popular luxury home décor store, R-House, in Mumbai.

If there is a couple that always remains in news then it is Virat-Anushka. While both are doing well in their respective careers, they are also interested in entrepreneurship. Recently the due invested Rs. 2.2 crore in a finance-tech startup called Digit. The company is also backed up by Prem Watsa.

Shah Rukh Khan is the real king of Bollywood as he has interest in acting and production. His company Red Chillies Entertainment has delivered many hits to Bollywood. And it is in addition to the brand SRK that works for many businesses. Also, his wife Gauri Khan is a proud owner of an interior design company Gauri Khan Designs, in Mumbai.

There are fewer couples in Bollywood as diverse as Twinkle and Akshay. Twinkle Khanna is very calm in personality but Akshay Kumar remains candid in his approach. But the duo has one thing is similar that is they are equally excited about entrepreneurship and like SRK and Gauri, they also own a production house called Hari Om Entertainment.

    Raj Kundra is already heading several businesses before marrying Shilpa Shetty in 2008. But he started a joint venture with his wife in 2009, when they bought a stake in V8 Gourmet Group. In 2020, they decided to invest more on Bastian, a fine dine restaurant in Mumbai. They have 50% stake in the restaurant with outlets in Bandra and Worli.
